Masvidal is on a roll. Knocked out Darren Till earlier this year in front of Till's home crowd. Leon Edwards tried to punk him backstage while he was being interviewed. He walked over to him calmly and delivered the 3-piece with a soda. Askren was trying to rile him up leading up to tonight. Goes out there and destroys him in 5 seconds in highlight reel fashion.
Masvidal is must-see TV.

Jorge drew out the instant reflex that he had with that charge. Genius. Plus I think the strikes from Robbie took a toll too. I dunno man but that was amazing. Jorge is a BEAST. Title shit time. No questions.
He was lucky Lawler didn't stop him like that in the first UFC fight too. Got really lucky with his recovery and the quick submission stoppage shortly thereafter. Lawler took it to him early for real. I'm still surprised at how well Askren did over in Bellator and ONE. Especially considering he has such limited striking.
I think Masvidal is done w/ Ben. He is looking forward to the title.

Ben was fucking with him. But that was ok just hype a fight. I was hoping Jorge wouldn't fuck it up by hitting him before the fight. This happened EXACTLY how he needed it to. Took out the hype in highlight fashion. Wow. I'm just over here with my jaw dropped

He was out cold but the last punch woke his ass up. He somehow regained his equilibrium quickly and got to grappling.
