I didn't see the fight but Lee cut a lot of weight. A lot of people predicted he would gas because of the weight cut.
CACs are tired of seeing us dominate sports. They almost always root against us. This is why Black fighters in the UFC often have to fight each other and white fighters seem to get protected or favorable opportunities. What top guys has Gustaphsson beat in a non title fight? Bisping walked into a title fight without fighting Romero or Jacare. Both of them were killing everyone for over a year and never got a shot. Now GSP walks in and gets an opportunity. If it was an even playing field, there would only be one or two white champs.
Don't forget about Sonnen, he's the king of gift matchups and title fights.....
It's crazy how much money he has generated/hustled. The time spent in the WEC and UFC. Broadcast work with Fox Sports, ESPN, and Bellator. The current involvement with the aforementioned Bellator. The popular podcast on the PodcastOne platform. The Submission Underground events & close ties with Flo Combat. The former "boring wrestler" who chose to run his mouth & adopt the pro wrestling gimmick/angle with the pre-written script(s). Used car salesman to the fullest. Crazy.

They will throw an insane amount of money at DJ to hopefully make this fight happen. The height difference would be my concern and TJ has some serious boxing skills.
DJ is 5'3" and TJ is 5'7"
