I mean feel his sentiment, but how you shitting on your own Champ. Not like you can strip his belt for boring fights. I think TW should take as motivation to keep fighting conservatively and make the crowd hate him. They'll pay to see you lose as much as they pay to see you win. Keep getting under them CAC's skin and laugh all the way to the bank. I don't know if he has it in him to play that role the way he should though.

Dana is 100% accurate about Woodley. No risk, no reward. Keep fighting "safe" Woodley, see where that gets you in MMA.

I actually wanted to see him fight Cain too but he had a soft spot for the spic so now Cormier suffered

That's NOT happening. He just lost the fucking money fight with GSP. You cats are rooted for Tyrone because he is Black. MMA is not boxing. MMA fans want to see more offense. If you are asking people to lay out $70 bucks, it starts to become more about entertainment. That's just the prize fighting game.

He's the champ. And if he goes balls out and gets knocked out first round then what? Dana will move him to the side like he ain't shit. He didn't fight safe in the 1rst fight with Thompson and he damn near got screwed out of the title.

And yet GSP who stopped risking shit after Matt Serra knocked him out kept getting main events.

That's true with GSP, but he has a built in fan base that will buy that fight just because he is from Canada. Tyron doesn't have that. He needs to fight to get his fanbase like most MMA fighters.

Conor and GSP have that country fanbase that gets them those huge PPV numbers.

The PPV buys is the reason why. This is big business prize fighting. Make no mistake about it. Money rules who steps in that cage most of the time. Life ain't fuckin' fair.

I'm actually pulling for Tyron. Shit, I'm from St. Louis. He is just delusional and is getting some horrible guidance with his MMA career.

Tyrone has SO much potential and just doesn't use it. He is a freak of nature and strong AF, but chooses to run.

No offense dude, I don't think you get it. This is martial arts first and foremost. Tyron knocked the hell out of Robbie to get the belt and had a great fight against Wonderboy the first time. He literally just had two boring fights against two tricky guys that have been giving everybody else the blues. He did what he had to do. If D.C. had went out there and did shit like what you are suggesting against Silva or Maybe Gus, instead of using his wrestling he would have never gotten the payday he got tonight. If Woodley goes out and murks his next two or three guys this shit won't even be a topic anymore...and Lawler put on some of the most exciting fights you will ever see..and he still is not a big ppv draw...he has everybody's respect..but not a ton of money..and a lot less brain cells
 
Good card. Really enjoyed Moicano-Ortega, and Lamas-Knight on the prelims. Can't go wrong with Aljamain Sterling either. Big step up in competitition versus former champ Barao. He showed a mixed game out there, and represented well.

Surprised at Volkan O' leading off the main card. He's a muthafucka. Definitely on a roll at the moment. Beat our Canadian guy earlier this year in 30 seconds. Took out Manuwa equally as quickly. Geez. Cerrone-Lawler delivered as we had all hoped it would. Big respect for both fighters' career accomplishments. Are they ever in boring fights? Tonya Evinger sure is durable. Took plenty of damage from Cyborg. Maia's takedown game was completely nullified indeed. Props to Woodley for neutralizing him completely. Big ups to Jones and DC in the main event. Hard-fought fight like the first one in January 2015 ... that finishing sequence was MEAN AND VICIOUS. Head kick ... then following DC as he's backpedalling and trip him ... DC scrambles to the fence and body kick him there ... and then finish him off with precise ground and pound. Damn. People were impressed at the party! Yelling out in appreciation ... one of the homies called it with the 3rd round stoppage and he was impressed. Respected DC's gameplan too of taking the fight to Jon ... even with the height and reach disadvantage ... and being attacked to the legs and body. Big ups to both guys, for real.

I agree 100% with you ....100%. At the end of the day though, Dana and ANY smart business man can see that Tyron has changed how he fights, at least for now. Dana can't take a chance of making that fight and people not buy it because Tyron might fight safe again. They could lose millions of dollars.
