Champions League Draw

Tottenham will face reigning champions Inter Milan in the Champions League group stages, while they also face German side Werder Bremen and Steve McClaren's former side FC Twente.

Manchester United face up against Rangers in another 'Battle of Britain' after their last clash in 2003-04 and must contend with Valencia as well - although the Spanish side have been weakened by the summer exits of David Villa and David Silva - and shock Turkish champions Bursaspor.

Didier Drogba gets a reunion with Marseille, and Didier Deschamps, as Chelsea are drawn in a group with the French champions, but they also face a tough trip to Spartak Moscow and Slovakia's MSK Zilina.

Arsenal will be reunited with Eduardo after the striker moved to Shakhtar Donetsk, while they also face Braga - who hammered Sevilla - and Serbian side Partizan.

The group of death is undoubtedly the one containing AC Milan, Real Madrid, Ajax and Auxerre.

ac milan and real madrid again in the group stage.:smh::smh:

wouldve love to see barca and milan play just to see ronaldinho go back to camp nou

I can only imagine the atmosphere (racist) for anyone going to Belgrade to play Partizan. Also, Rubin Kazan have put it on Barca in the past. Drogba's return to Marseilles will also be interesting...

already happened yesterday het got the proper goodbye he deserved

dont worry jaxie gaat het halen i think:lol::smh:

you need to be laughing at where you at in the epl league:lol:

yeah but it wasnt nationally televised. is there a youtube clip?

DJCandle, is there any subscription plan I can get on DirectTV that would allow me to see these games, along with Premier League games?

I forgot how terrible the soccer coverage is in this country. And don't get me started about that bullshit coverage ESPN does once a week.

I want to see this stuff on the big screen. Any way I can do that?

Spurs have a interesting group to contend with. My only worry is Werder Bremen.

your worry is bremen and not inter hmm interesting

Not worried about Inter at all. If Mourinho was still there, maybe I would be worried. With benitez there, redknapp knows his benitez's tactics from his days at Liverpool and would adjust accordingly.

don't quote me on this b/c i'm just a lowly/disgruntled COMCAST customer, but i'm fairly positive that w/DirectTV you can get FSC/FSC+(EPL/SerieA) and GolTV(LaLiga/Bundesliga), and i'm pretty sure the FSC broadcasts in HD.

Yea he's right. With Directv you get Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Soccer Channel Plus, GolTV, all the regional Fox affiliates, and something they call the UEFA mix.

Just recently they added FSC HD, and GolTV HD. Coupled alongside ESPN, and you shouldn't be missing any of the bigger leagues anymore.

Overall Directv has the best footballing coverage in the United States at present.

you're joking right...Liverpool's talent is no where near Inter
