It's UConn, again.

Breanna Stewart scored 24 points to lead the undefeated Huskies to their 11th national championship and fourth straight with an 82-51 win over Syracuse on Tuesday night.

Morgan Tuck added 19 points and Moriah Jefferson had 13 for the Huskies, who have now won 75 consecutive games, and 122 of their last 123, all by double digits.

Brittney Sykes had 12 points for Syracuse (30-8), which was making its first appearance in the title game.

What is amazing is that they are winning without having top recruiting classes

Shit when u get A top player in the right system things work out good, but a few top players in the right system then you become a problem.

Aren't they at like 17 out of 22 or some ridiculous shit like that??? I mean anytime you have a stretch of dominance like that it's something to be marveled. But the woman's game is so watered down and they've been the best program so long it's kind of lost its appeal.

Baylor wasn't a push over during this stretch either bro...

Ok. Tennessee was good, but fell off. Stanford is good, Baylor..................... Not gonna front like I watch women's ball, but seriously who has really challengedon't them year in year out???

Arguing with one of my friends now about whether this Breana Stewart chick is better than Maya Moore in college. He says yes because she has 4 rings. I say no. Numbers don't compare. I also explained to him that Moore lost one to a loaded Pat Summit lead team with Candice Parker and the other to a Notre Dame team with Skyler Diggins. I just think the competition was better when Moore was in college. Matter of fact I know it was because she caught the end of that Tennessee dynasty.

Man, Geno can coach. Period. He didn't always have the best players as freshman. He gets good ones and makes them a great team. Jasmine Lister ain't the only hottie been rockin tight shit all year. Womens basketball asst coaches seem to be having some type of competition. I love it. Check out ole girl on Notre Dame. She's another fine sista.

Congrats to the Huskies. Winning championships are hard no matter what sport.

Them years when Brittany Griner was at Baylor they were rough. Shit if I ain't mistaking, they was the first college team women's or men's undefeated title team.

Maya Moore >>>Breanna Stewart
wait until they go vs. each other in WNBA.

didn't know about Asst. Coach Lister by name, but that wagon had my attention!

Man that a nice convo to have. That crazy because they all was so great that we look at they're opponents.
When Bri was a freshman I was thinking, "bro this gal gonna be it".
So I'm 100% understanding...

this my boo-thang and favorite...

Yeah sorry I have to give Taurasi and Moore the nods because they won championships when Tennessee was just as good as UCONN.

This year Maryland, Notre Dame, Baylor, South Carolina, Stanford all were good and on any given night could have beat UCONN. Problem is they all lost early in the tournament. I think Stewie is the most accomplished UCONN player; but the best for me was Diana Taurasi. That girl has a killer heart like Jordan. And she's a one so she has the pill most of the time. Maya didn't have the all-around game these other two have.

Yea they did have some tough teams them. During Diana years...(2002 might be my favorite team Gene had...Sue Bird's senior year)

Yea Diana was just didn't, I think the reference to Jordan like killer trait is worthy.

I like she never stopped moving...some player get to the wing and standing there, she would bounce up and down keeping the pressure on the defender...
(Something small but should the mental awareness she possessed)

Maya was so smooth, with that big backside...

This geeky Steward kid looked like she didn't even belong in a gym(let along on the court) when she first got there(I saw a pic of her on a visit, wow). She's every bit of what they said she would be. Most accomplished hell fuck yea!!!
