Tyler Perry's Netflix Film ‘A Fall From Grace’ Jan 17, 2020 (Phylicia Rashad! Cicely Tyson!) UPDATED with Official Trailer:

This movie WAS a fall from grace, a disgrace to the black race, a slap in the face, the dvd should be mauled with a mace! :smh:

Tyler Perry is that dude, but this movie was :puke:

The movie was OK, but how did the boyfriend cop get an APB on Claire Huxtable in middle of an arrest and knew that the wife was there after letting her walk home for no apparent reason?

Grace's ass was phat thou.

Nah they were on the way to ”Claire’s place” not home when they left the jail, but why was a APB put out for her anyway?

U right, but she did askfor a background check for Grace's friends when they was going over phone records..and the boyfriend cop was like "I shouldn't be doing this"

I guess I was just too smoked questioning stuff when the answer is right in front of me.

Yeah she thick. It's on display a few times during The Haves and Have Nots.

Did anybody catch that the old white lady that jumped to her death at the beginning of the film was from Claire’s house? It was flashed back to in that scene when Cicely Tyson was talking to the lawyer.

She wasn't walking home she was walking to Claires crib and she told him to let her out so he could get to work

I remember way back when Crystal Fox was Deputy Hottie on "In The Heat of the Night." And that was when most of the younger officers in Sparta apparently also moonlighted as fashion models. Tyler Perry is definitely loyal to the actors who are loyal to him - if he likes you, you will NEVER be unemployed!

Big up to Tyler Perry, he doing what many blacks in his position should of been doing. We all can learn from the example of keeping the money amongst ourselves.

U right, but what dude in his right mind would let their WIFE (not GF) out to walk blocks in heels order to be at work if you already late?

Another Tyler Perry flick with a predictable plot. Not expecting an epic but Perry's trite formula movies are getting a little old. In the first 10 minutes you know where the film is heading and what the outcome will be. But there's an upside, because of Perry at least black actors are getting work. Just wish their talents were exhibited in better written and developed films where the viewer doesn't know the ending almost immediately. :hmm:

All true! But the twist ending on this one fucked me up!

Yeah, they shouldn't have shown Cicely in the beginning. Who wouldn't suspect Claire after seeing that?
