By your statements I can tell you have never worked with criminals. Do you see what happens when a cops lets his guard down while trying to be considerate with street thugs...they end up dead. There are some silly ass cops who like to mess with people. You are smart enough to know that all cops are not bad so you can't pull that lame ass angle. A smart cop will treat every single person he encounters as if they were a hard core criminal. It is easy to diffuse a situation with a cop and that is being calm and cooperative. 95% of cops once they see that you are not trying to do anything and their life is not endanger they will let you bounce some without even writing a ticket. Even if you have a cop acting a fool...shut up. Be calm and try to get the cop to bust you upside the head in a calm manner. Then take the couple hundred thousand

This is the kind of ignorant shit that is so prevalent that I don't agree with at all. I believe that MOST cops just want to get home at the end of their shifts. They are decent people and don't start all of the shit that has most of you/us mad or pissed off at cops.
However, there are a great deal of cops that I believe to be the minority. These racist, profiling, abusive, authority driven assholes with guns make it bad for the whole group. I know a few cops, and the are decent guys. If one of them were to get killed by one of these idiots with guns I'd be highly pissed. Any of you who have been given a warning by a cop when you were dead wrong doing something (speeding, stop sign. etc.) should know that all cops aren't dirty.
Now, if these cops were dirty...then fuck 'em. But let's not be happy about this simply because they are police and they got killed. If you do then you are no different than those Arab people who cheer when a US soldier gets killed. You are too ignorant to completely understand the situation. Think about it on the flip side. If these people who kill cops are so bold and crazy as to kill a police officer...how is that a good thing that these people are on the loose? More importantly, what do you think they would do to you?

This is a crock of bullshit. Retards who enroll police academy know death is a work related hazard. They signed up for it, so they deal with the consequences. Feeling sorry for them I will never, my tax dollar pays their salaries and that's all they will get from me. Here in L.A. where they were damn near begging for new cops. They had ads on busses promising a starting salary of $58,000 a year and STILL had problems getting people to enroll. On top of that, the one MAJOR issue I have with the police force is their vetting process. A LOT of cops are fire academy washouts. They either fail because their pasts are shady and/or FAIL THE PSYCH EVALUATIONS. So what does the state gov't do? GIVE THEM A GUN. What type of fuckin ass backwards shit is that? BOTH are funded by the state, and a muthafucka carrying a firearm needs to be vetted twice as thoroughly as a fire fighter.
