Then he transitioned to directing and writing franchise films such as the Rocky series spinoff, Creed (2015), as well as the Marvel films Black Panther (2018), and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022). Finished this 1st season of Down Cemetery Road earlier this evening.


Good stuff. Enjoyed the assortment of characters & can definitely recommend it - especially for those who familiar with simiar series like Slow Horses, etc.


Some nice twists and turns at times ... good tension ... and it gets into the story pretty quickly right off the bat in the pilot.




Down Cemetery Road is an eight-part British television series based on the 2003 novel by Mick Herron, adapted by Morwenna Banks. The series premiered on 29 October 2025 on Apple TV. The last episode is scheduled to air on December 10.


Premise​

A woman hires an investigator after an explosion occurs and a girl goes missing on the same night in a quiet suburban neighbourhood.




Mick Herron is a British mystery and thriller novelist. He is the author of the Slough House series, early novels of which have been adapted into the Slow Horses television series. He won the Crime Writers' Association 2013 Gold Dagger for Dead Lions and the Diamond Dagger in 2025 for lifetime achievement.
