This Comedy/Sci-Fi series popped up in my tubi recommendations earlier this month. I watched it last night on the road. The trailer caught my attention. It’s billed as a “tubi original”

The premise is around the main character going thru the multiverse as a form of therapy.

It’s an interesting series and is different from what is currently out there. It co-stars Martin Lawrence, Janet Hubert and Lynn Whitfield.

There are only 6 episodes that run around 25 minutes. The story is presented well and there is no filler episodes or episodes with just talk.

VFX/SFX are basic, nothing extraordinary but done well.

When the opening credits roll, I noticed it said “amc/amc plus”, I looked into it and this series was originally produced by them and was scheduled for release in 2023. It was part of a something AMC was doing producing small independent projects. They gave up on it to save money and focus on big budget projects. tubi found out about it and took possession of it.

For the Gay Agenda trackers, there is a BM/BM relationship. PDA is shown. It is not part of the story and involves the multiverse.

FYI…The main character has a girlfriend, watching his relationship will want you to throw your remote at the TV ( I wanted to, HaHa), just bear with it, it’s explained at the end.

If looking for something different, you should enjoy this, especially being it’s a Black production. It’s listed as a limited series, but leaves off for a 2nd season. I suspect tubi is waiting to see streaming numbers before moving forward.

Synopsis

A 33-year-old Black man on a know-thyself mission begins an experimental immersion therapy that sends him into alternate timelines of his own life.
