I would say of the current TV landscape, NBC's Thursday night line-up is the most family friendly, on "The Office" they don't play up Oscar's being gay too tough!

i remember Saturday nights Amen, 227 and i think the Golden Girls
before that i think it was Facts of Life,Silver Spoons and Gimme A Break
We are so geeked out on The Office that we watch the re-runs daily on TBS @ 6pm.
Other shows we do watch as a family will be The Amazing Race. My daughters are 8 and 3 respectively. Even the 3 year old watches The Office, and know who the fuck Michael Scott is
