They was talking government shutdowns before Trump got in office. So it had already been planned. We hollered about reparations and Trump bought murders and robbers of black south Africa over here and give them what we have to work for right in our face. Honestly, this is understating it. If this lasts until Thanksgiving, that means that these people will be expected to work without pay for 3 more weeks. I don't think that's gonna fly with a LOT of people. That'll be 2 months of not having a single paycheck. People are already calling in and resigning to the point where the FAA had to cancel flights today. If this lasts 3 more weeks, there may not even be a point in even trying to fly on Thanksgiving. Half of the flights won't just take long to make it to, they'll be cancelled altogether.
Half of their paycheck will be gone anyway once the govt reopens due to their insurance premiums tripling.
It's pick your poison at this point.
If the Dems give in and vote to reopen the govt, everybody and they mama know the GOP ain't bout to try and sit down to pass an extension on the Obamacare subsidies. If Trump don't want it....it aint gone happen.
Then when those premiums skyrocket....the GOP will just blame democrats for it.

These planes can't sit out there for a long time. At some point, they have to go back for more fuel. It's a law that they carry so much fuel onboard.
