Admittedly, I haven't been following the case too close but I'm not getting why some of you are so mad at Fani. Her private affair doesn't have much to do with whether Trump committed election interference. We need to do a better job of dismissing BS and staying focused on the goals and strategy. Trump has all kinds of incriminating quotes, classified paperwork at his house, sexual misconduct allegations, conflicts of interest, nepotism, interference, and corruption situations that he has been able to blow off in days and weeks. Now we are here criticising Fani Willis' body language as she is asked about her private life. Why do we keep accepting the Jedi Mind tricks that CACs throw at us? If Trump gets off on this case, it isn't because Fani Willis fucked a prosecutor, it is because our whole system is corrupt. Look how many cases Trump has beaten. She's not in front of a jury though. It's all lawyers and a judge and they all know each other. They apparently lied and said she and Wade were living with each other to get it in front of a judge. Gov Roy Barnes spoke well of her and Wade. He said he was a great organizer. He said he was offered the job Oct 26th and declined it. Wade was given the job Nov 1.
My personal opinion is that there were few people she could trust. Some in the state didn't want the case brought, even going so far as to try to pass laws to be able to target and block her. Gov Barnes said it didn't pay well and security needs would be a hassle. I don't know if she's lying about when the relationship started, I hope she's not because it could cost her and Wade their law licenses. Unless it's proven she's lied, then I'm in her corner.
