Donald Trump, who openly campaigned in 2016 against Hillary Clinton on chants of “lock her up” but was ultimately persuaded to not pursue her prosecution, now appears to be fantasizing about throwing his predecessor, former President Barack Obama, in jail. And his Administration is actively taking steps in that direction.

The current President shared on his Truth Social platform on Sunday a video from TikTok user @neo8171 that starts with a montage of Democratic politicians, including Obama, saying, “No one is above the law,” to the tune of Luciano Michelini’s “Frolic” (made famous as the theme song of sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm). After about 40 seconds, the soundtrack changes to the Village People’s “Y.M.C.A.,” as apparently AI-generated video depicts Trump and Obama sitting in the Oval Office and FBI officers handcuffing Obama while Trump smiles and laughs. It ends with an AI-generated depiction of Obama pacing around a jail cell.
Trump also shared an AI-generated image attributed to X user @sirtemplemount that showed fake mugshots of Obama and officials from his Administration with the words “The Shady Bunch.”

And the President shared a screenshot from X of user @Real_JaredMarsh, who responded to a clip of Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R, Fla.) saying on Fox News that “there needs to be criminal prosecution and arrests.” Marsh posted, “I agree with @RepLuna!” alongside an image of men being arrested outside the U.S. Capitol with the words “Unless this happens, nothing will change” overlaid on the image.

Trump’s posts come after his Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democrat turned MAGA Republican, on Friday announced that she was turning over evidence of an “Obama Administration Conspiracy to Subvert Trump’s 2016 Victory and Presidency” to the Department of Justice “for criminal referral.”

During a heavy downpour at the White House, President Obama stepped off Marine One. Instead of rushing inside, he paused in the rain with a thoughtful gesture. He turned back, holding the only umbrella from the helicopter.

He called over two senior staffers, Valerie Jarrett and Anita Decker Breckenridge, to share his umbrella. Together, they walked to the Oval Office, while others stayed on duty in the rain. This small moment showed his care for those around him.

This simple act reminds us that leadership shines through kindness, even in little moments.

Obama Posts Video of Trump Actually Getting Arrested in Real Life
WASHINGTON—Responding to Donald J. Trump’s posting of a fake AI-generated video of Barack Obama being arrested, on Monday the former president posted an actual video of Trump being criminally prosecuted in 2024.
The video shows Trump outside the Manhattan courtroom where he was charged with 34 felony counts and ultimately convicted on all of them.
“To be honest, I wanted to come up with some kind of crazy AI video to respond to his, but I’m no good with all of that tech stuff,” Obama said. “Fortunately, there was real video of him when he was on trial, so I guess I lucked out.”
At the White House, press secretary Karoline Leavitt blasted Obama’s post, stating, “Sharing actual footage of events that really happened is something that President Trump would never do.”

The White House slams Joy Behar as "an irrelevant loser" and says "The View" is "the next to be pulled off air."

Behar said on "The View" this week that "[Trump] is so jealous of Obama, because Obama is everything that he is not: Trim, smart, handsome, happily married, and can sing Al Green’s song ‘Let’s Stay Together’ better than Al Green. And Trump cannot stand it. It’s driving him crazy."

A White House spokesperson clapped back: “Joy Behar is an irrelevant loser suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. It’s no surprise that The View’s ratings hit an all-time low last year. "She should self-reflect on her own jealousy of Trump’s historic popularity before her show is the next to be pulled off air."
