Didn't the marines use to argue that they didn't believe in special ops designations because all marines were supposed to be equally good or something to that effect?

Yeah we all supposed to be a basic rifleman. Because of this, Infantry in the Marines is the worst MOS you can have. You're in the field a lot doing extra shit. Moral is low because everyone there feels like they got screwed. They see other Marines like me working a 9-5 fixing jets weekends off no PT or field.
