Rapper Jim Jones is listed as a federal informant in court documents in the case against Tekashi. In the original court transcripts that were previously released online, the conversation between individual 1 (Jim Jones) is listed as cooperating with federal agents in a conversation with Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones. Which would explain why Jim Jones has been able to have such a lengthy criminal record and avoid prison time in the past, if you recall earlier this year Jim Jones dodged jail time in a drug and gun case.

Criminal informants are used to obtain information which if you listen to the call. Jim Jones was clearly getting information for the Feds from his fellow Nine Trey Blood members about their plans to murder Tekashi.

That can be flipped to mean anything with a good lawyer....

If he only said that you'd be right but he also spoke in detail about assaulting hired security which he stated would enable them to touch Tekashi.

I don't know if he's cooperating or not but the fact that the conversation was introduced as evidence with the other person involved being charged means it was relevant to these criminal cases.

With that in mind I can't see how Jim wouldn't be charged with something even if it was a light charge.

I just realized the paperwork detailing the conversation listing someone as "Individual 1" was obtained in November 2018 when Tekashi was first knocked.

We now have audio of that conversation to match and Tekashi's testimony confirming Jim Jones was the other individual in the conversation along with the dude Mel Murda.

Considering that Jim Jones is listed as individual 1 in the transcripts and the fact that Mel Murda has already been knocked and sentenced Ibwould say its a pretty good bet that Jim Jones cut a deal.

The only time I've ever seen someone's name omitted from court documents is to protect the identity of a victim or someone who is testifying.

I don't doubt it but I believe the driver that night is also a cooperating witness after being caught by ICE and gave testimony today which I believe corroborates Tekashi's version (though I haven't read the details of his testimony myself.)
