After Transformers 2, I'm done with Bay all together. Me not buying a ticket will go unnoticed because there will be plenty of people that will run out and wait in line but I can't support his bullshit any longer. In my opinion, he fucking destroyed what Transformers could have been

No lie I've had that shit on my comp for some months now along with Gi Joe and haven't got the urge to watch either. I liked the first Transformers but I can't imagine them building on the first one and making a good part 2.

Race aint got nothing to do with it. You know how many TF Podcast just gave up on reviewing or talking about TF because that movie left a bad taste in their mouth. Michael Bay Killed any excitement we had for TF. Michael Bay made Transformers look like Bionicles.

T1 was aight as far as kicking off the series but part 2 was supposed to bring that heat and it failed. If you take out all the unneccesarily corny racial/sexual innuendo and the entire concept of transformers that look like a pile of junk (devastator and the twins)....T2 wasnt half bad.

But I knew as soon as I saw the design for Devastator how low Bay would bring the bar.

All they need to do is develop the Decepticon personality more (especially Starscream....wouldnt hurt to give megatron and soundwave back their real voices) and do the giant transformer line or Dinobots properly and its slam dunk.

But nah they rather do the Witwicky teenage love shit.

The most glaring flaw of the transformers movies imo is the robots have no personality at all. They only develop Prime, Bee and Meagtron the other transformers may as well be mindless robots off of the factory floor.

Transformers 2 was horrible. Dont understand how they couldve added the twins and NOT seen that that was going to be a bad idea.. Some intern on the set was probably like this is a horrible idea and they wouldnt listen to him. Wouldve been nice to see someone who was an actual fan direct this series... 1st one wasnt bad, but i hate when directors feel that they need to add a love story and comedy to something that would be far better if it were dark and serious. Id rather watch the 1986 animated movie over and over.

They didn't make Megatron a Pistol since transforming from a pistol to a huge robot was not believable. Soundwave was in part 2, he was however a satellite in space and really didn't have a huge part. Same story, there a boom box to a huge robot would not be realistic to Michael Bay.

And them cats had a tight budget, a good script, good stunts and KNEW they were making a cartoon but kept the Jar Jar comedy out. My 5 year old asks to watch G I Joe almost everyday after school, Transformers 2 is sittin on the shelf collecting dust.

I resent your assumption. I'll go toe to toe with most intellectually, I appreciate REAL music, and yet I like and own both Transformers films on blu-ray. What's the deal with this homogenous mindset on BGOL? It's like everyone has to think the same or feel the same way about an issue or else they're dismissed as a numskull.

Some people are forced to think so much in their everyday lives that they relish the escape into mindless fanboyism, as they watch their childhood cartoon favorites embrace the big screen.

I'll be there on opening night whether the twins are in the 3rd movie or not.

Tight budget?! G.I. Joe's budget was $175M, and from the looks of some of the CGI shots they need a refund.

Yeah Transformers 2 wasn't that good, but I at least see where the money went.

No doubt about your son liking it. My boy's 4 year old son watches it a lot too. It is better paced and not as long as Transformers so it holds attention and interest better

I'm not expecting oscar worthy performances, or great directing. I just wanna go to the movies and enjoy myself. The movies I will be critical about is either the comic book movies, or movies that has an oscar buzz already *or should*. Transformers for me is to relive my childhood in a way. That's it.

With all that being said, I think a lot of people *who isn't going to go to the movies anyway...lets be real* really need to get their head out of their ass. If the movie sucks, don't watch it. Get it on bootleg. It's that fucking easy...
