Tourists Watch Russian Man Get Devoured by Shark on Egypt Beach
“It’s eating his remains now,” one witness could be heard saying as the shark pulled the man underwater.

Tourists visiting the popular Egyptian resort of Hurghada watched a man get eaten alive by a shark just feet away from a crowded beach.

The incident occurred on the beach of the Dream Beach hotel, according to Russian media reports, which said the victim was a Russian citizen.

Russia’s consul-general in Hurghada, Viktor Voropayev, told the country’s TASS news agency that the deadly attack happened Thursday.

“A Russian died as a result of the shark attack,” he said, identifying the victim as 23-year-old “V. Popov,” who he said was not a tourist but had been living in Egypt for several months. Russian media reports named the victim as Vladimir Popov.

Terrifying footage of the encounter shows hotel staffers screaming for swimmers to get out of the water as the shark’s fin can be seen approaching.

Popov can then be seen struggling with the shark before it becomes clear to all those watching that it’s a losing battle.
According to Russian media reports, his father was watching on the beach at the time of the attack, and Popov had cried out for him as he struggled to escape the shark.

“It’s eating his remains now,” one witness who filmed the attack can be heard saying. Shortly after, the beast pulled him completely underwater.

Witnesses said rescuers tried to save Popov but by the time they got there, the shark had already gotten him.

Was there a boat coming by to try and rescue the guy, cause it seems the video was cut short or abruptly.

That is a fucked way to go. So far I have seen two live deaths by shark attacks on bgol in the span of 1 hour.

Well it's official I'm never going back in the ocean again.

@Duece doesnt have a pool in his backyard

I usually would feel the temperature of the water with my toes. Everyone else can go in, I'll watch the umbrellas, sunglasses, and the cooler. I mean.... somebody's gotta watch and secure properties.

Of course. The only thing that would be better, is if you were in them.

I'd watch you getting eaten by a great white shark and start singing "Old Man River"
Honestly the only thing better would be @shaddyvillethug getting eaten after the shark did a 15ft breach, throwing his lil scrawny ass into the air like a seal
sidebar: that shark was in the mood for a "White Russian"

He was dumb for swimming there in that region. Notice no one else in the water that far out unless they're in boats?

they need to get the orca's involved. they'll straighten everything out quick fast.... you aint gotta worry about it.... they'll swim right past you but close enough to let you know they chose to not eat you!
I think that there are a few, quite a few, sailboat owners in Spain that will disagree with that
