**Top 5ive Gadgets NOT to Buy List** -- AOL Money & Finance

1. HD DVD player - true. but if youre smart enough you'll just rent the dvd from netflix, use clone dvd and copy them and watch them on your computer. or if you bought one of the new gaming systems, you have a hd or blu-ray player already.

2. PS3- uhh, people gonna buy it anyway cause its the newest system.

3. Draft N wireless router- true. get yaself a linksys. One thing Cisco knows is routers. follow their lead...

4. Windows Vista - if you buy a new computer you gonna get Vista anyway. The average life a computer is 2 years old, so everyone will have Vista eventually anyway...

5. 10 Megapix Camera. again, new technology brings higher megapixels. at one time, 2 megapixels was the highest end and the cost was high, now you get those those in embeded cell phones. pretty soon, 10mpix will be the new standard anyway.

thats just some niggas opinion, how they gonna fix the vista bugs if no one uses it, not that there are any bugs right now except for some compatibility shit, and i have a 20 inch wide screen montior and i can clearly see the diffrence in a 10 megapixel and a 5 mega pixel camera, if you have a big monitor you will see the diffrence. Bluray and hd dvd aren't worth it unless you have a tv 50 inches or larger but you can definetely see the diffrence if you watch on a tv of size

1. Knew not to jump on that. DVD prices have dropped dramatically. How much clearer do you need it?

2. Never liked console systems...wouldn't buy that shit. For all that money I can go SLI and do whatever.

3. Router smouter. But I'll give Linksys their propers.

4. Vista: I keep telling everyone wait for SP1 for that shit. Until then I'm not missing anything with XP running Firefox.

5. I've got a 4 Megapixel camera that can take 400 Highest Quality Photos with no problems...and video (no sound). I've taken it everywhere and never felt the need for 10MPs. 5 is cheap and clear as water.

Been using Hasselblad for years, I am not surprised that they are still on top of their game with this 39 MegaPixel MONSTER .

Hasselblad Star Quality

To define the core parameters of optimal image quality, Hasselblad is introducing its Hasselblad Star Quality standard. Traditionally, resolution or the number of pixels on the sensor has been perceived as the most important quality factor in digital photography, but in fact other parameters have similar or even greater impact – sharpness, the definition of small details, color and low noise. Hasselblad has spent the last two years developing the underlying technology to optimize these parameters:

Resolution: – State of the art 39 megapixels
Sharpness: – Ultra-Focus and DAC
Small details: – Single shot interpolation
Color: – Hasselblad Natural Color Solution
Low noise: – Digital noise reduction
With the introduction of the H3D, Hasselblad has produced a camera system that can deliver the highest image quality to date.

Photographic Flexibility

To allow the photographer to shoot the most creative and best composed images, the H3D has also been developed for maximum flexibility:

Viewfinder flexibility: - The system offers a choice of viewfinders for image composition and is compatible with Hasselblad’s standard H System lenses and the new 28mm digital HCD lens.
Tilt and Shift flexibility: - The digital capture unit can be used on a view camera with tilt and shift functionality.
Storage flexibility: - The H3D also gives the professional photographer three options for image storage: on a CF card, to a Hasselblad Image Bank (a 100GB drive with a write speed of up to 60MB/sec) via FireWire, or the tethered operation with extended, special capture controls.
Film flexibility: - In exceptional circumstances, such as extreme heat or cold or extremely long or short exposure times, it is also possible to switch to film.

With these operating and storage options, the photographer is able to select a mode to suit their work, whatever the nature and whether in the studio or on location.

HD-DVD/BLU RAY-Who gives a shit! Why the fuck do I need to see something that detailed! Hell, in real life I can't see shit super detailed!

PS3-Even though I like Playstation products, this might be Sony's Dreamcast! A great system, but will lose to the already available xbox 360 and family oriented Wii.

Draft N Routers-again, who gives a shit! Stick to the shit that works already!

Vista-It ain't a Mac but it sure as hell looks pretty. But like divine stated, everyone will have one eventually. They said the same thing about XP and look what happened!

10 Mpxls-If you got the dough or you really love photography, go ahead and do you. 3-6 is really all you need.

Do you have HD yet??
regular DVD aint really shit on an HD set, not compared to the HD quality you get on one of the HD stations or HD DVD or Blu Ray.

What a waste of money...

Price : $ 31,994.95

You'd be better off paying a few G for an old school Hassel with a Linhof film back. and getting the 4x5s drum scanned.

Contrary to popular belief digital still hasn't caught up with film, and many magazines, especially landscape magazines won't except prints from digital.
In order to get the full resolution provided by 35mm Slide film you need a full frame 25MP camera. So 39MP sounds like a lot, but not for a 4x5.

Rumor has it Canon's new 1 series will be 25MP full frame.

they forgot the iphone. the battery is non-removeable, and and its the same type that all the ipods have. which means after a while when you charge it after 3-4 hours it will show that it needs to be recharged. no physical dialpad, so when you put it in your pocket or purse without a cover (which someone will do) the screen will be damaged and there you are. i would wait until the 2nd or 3rd generation to get one. yeah its got a lot. but its missing one thing that it should rightfully have................"over the air" itunes downloading.
