Re: Too Much Racial Stuff Period

You are on a black board and are allowed to be here. Do you really expect us to cater to you? Count your blessings you are here! If you want to have racial debates with black people, there are plenty of boards for that, just not this one. Just sit back, chill and enjoy the scenery.....
Uhm this sounds like "You should feel lucky youre allowed to ride on this bus". I cant believe you.
Apartheid on the internet? How are you gonna stop other races from visiting your site anyway.
Bigirl you should stop thinking in `sides´, and in ´us´ and ´them´.
This whole board has really been an eye opener. I´m not from the USA and we have racism in Europe - some countries more than others. But the things being said and thought on this board really tops anything.
First of all I didn´t realize just how racist the USA really was. But to read about people hating their jobs so much coz theyre surrounded with racist colleagues makes me sad.
But then at the same time a lot of people dealing with racism, knowing how it feels to be treated in such a way, are just as racist themselves. They don´t wanna befriend anyone of another race especially not whiteboys. They are actively preventing getting close to someone of another race.
I can´t believe that shit.
How are you gonna change things and how do you expect racism to stop if youre being a racist dick. If races stop interacting, stop mixing, stop loving eachother things are only gonna get worse. Have we forgotten about MLK, jr.?
If you want hate and xenophobia to stop the worst thing to do is to hate back. The best thing to do is show the world what a good and caring person you are and love people for who they are, instead of what they look like. Treat people with respect no matter what and speak you're mind when you come across disrespect. Change your own environment.
Never judge a book on it's cover. We're all human. Your skin color does not define you. Your actions do.
If every single person in his lifetime
would change one other person from being racist to being open minded, there wouldn't be any racism anymore.
It may seem impossible, but we got to dream and make our dreams come true, eventually.
"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal." I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood. [...] I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today."
