A good boss/management will make you perform better than a bad or average boss/management right? If your boss has no problem getting right beside his employees and working when needed won’t it make you work harder than a boss who sits in his office and tells you you need to work harder?
I understand your point but yes and no. It has worked that way sometimes and others it has not. Sometimes we worked hard in spite of the boss who was sitting on his ass. But we let it be known to the bosses to get him out of there. Other times performance reports were coming up so we had to look good.
To be fair it should becalled the Carson Palmer rule becaue that’s when thought of the rule was birthed.
At the end of the day, the rule didn't go into effect until Brady got hurt (which was years later). The nfl didn't give a fuck about Palmer getting injured that way or any other QB.
