You know young people think about shit. Rocsi has at plenty of times taken stands on things on that show and professed her love for her culture. You can't turn it into the Cousin Jeff show, but you can spark conversation by what you say, do and stand for.
106 and Park is the biggest avenue to black teenagers right now and if a member of the black race sees a problem with a statement made on that show she has every right to mention it. You can't control what kids listen to, but you can encourage and enrich their lives while they listen. 106 and Park as a program does that a lot despite the music they play. The music they HAVE to play is what turns most people over 20 away from the show.
Hey, where's the thread complaining about Terrence wearing a WHITE MAN's shirt today. He had on an Eli Manning jersey. Couldn't he wear a black team member's jersey? Doesn't he realize it's "Black History Month??" And he's actually "black," unlike Rocsi.
