it goes like this a state in mexico called veracruz has all the dark mexicans,some slaves excaped the west tip of cuba way way back in the day the ocean took them west to mexico.well my grandmother and her fam left cuba the same way right before castro took over back in the late 40s,they ended up in mexico and were given citizenship(sorda like cubans in FL.)my family on pops side i have no idea why a syrian family wanted to be in mexico,but there are alot of jews and mixed arabs in mexico.they all went to the same state.and thats how my fam came to be, no-one lost thier culture.when we have parties the food is the best part,you got a dish from every culture,then comes the music.
