As far as I know, I would circumcise my son because I have always heard about a high probability of infection and other things if the foreskin was left on

Nah... The majority of the men on the planet are not circumcised... been that way since the dawn of time, without backlash. The most advanced early civilizations didn't do it and in fact frowned on it. Circumcision began for religious reasons, not medical or hygienic. Males (who do not maintain proper hygiene) sometimes contract certain infections, but that's usually because of their hygienic practices, not the foreskin itself.

Iam not...and neither is my son.

My wife,a mid-wife has saved many young boys from this needless procedure.
People do it because they do not know better because of the many myths and fallacies concerning it.


 
I'm wondering why you guys are so emotional about it.
Primarily it's cultural practice.
If your culture doesn't require it why are you worried or concerned? It's not as if your forced to do it?
I think a little tolerance and acceptance of other cultures would be in order no?
 
If I have a son I would see to it that he's not circumcised.
There are some issues that can occur if one isn't circumcised though. I've heard of cases where the skin couldn't be pulled back past the head. :lol: That must suck. HAHA!
 
There will be more uncircumsized boys as Medicaid will no longer pay for the procedure and it costs over 200 to get it.

It's called phimosis. It is a medical emergency. (Strangulating the business is no joke!)
 
Uncircumcised males enjoy higher sensitivity.

Foreskin is a natural protection. With or without, male don't generally contract external penile infections other than STDs. Circumcision is not a truly preventative measure for infections

Circumcision for cultural reason is cool with me. Otherwise, this is a matter were mothers should step back and ask the father what his position and go with that.

My wife controls our girls hair and earlobes. I am cool with that.

I told her that circumcision is a matter that she shouldn't trouble herself with.

C/S ... it's part of my culture and parent's religion to do it ... my son's father is circumcised due to his culture as well and it was his idea to have it done to our son which we did when he was a week old ... I don't think it's as big a deal as some of you are making it out to be

And personally ... I think a circumsized dick is nicer to look at then one that looks like an elephants trunk ... but it's not an absolute must for me

People have always had to pay for it in T.Dot as far as I know ... normally over $200 but we went to a Jewish doctor who did it for half that price since it's a part of their culture and religion as well

It can be avoided if sons are taught good hygiene from the beginning

It's a low risk of cancer. As low as the increased cancer rate in men who get X-rays in that area. Infections are easily avoided if you teach your sons how to keep clean. Just like teaching girls to keep vaginas clean

I prefer a foreskin on a man and especially because their dick stays one nice pretty color (no offense to the 2-tone dick holders) :)

Circumcised is easier to deal with...

although the uncircumcised felt better

i know health care has alot to do it with....personally i think it should always be paid for if the parent wants it

Man that shit happened to me when I was young...like around 7 or 8...didn't know there was a name for it...I was taught to pull my shit back and clean it...one night I just left that shit back...being a little kid not knowing better wondering if I could just leave it like that...next morning that shit wouldn't budge...had to go to the doctor and the faggot forcefuly pulled that shit back... :eek: ...shit fukked with me for a loooooooooong ass while...I finally got circumsized like in 2003 (whenever it was that San Andreas came out because I remember limping through the mall a few days after surgery to pick up my reserved copy)...because of that shit my son will be circumsized...! Excuse me now...I am feeling a little depressed...that really was some fukked up shit for a kid to go through... :(

OH SHYT ... poor you:smh:I heard the later in life you get circumsized the more it hurts ... that's why I had my son circumsized at 1 week old so that he wouldn't remember shit ... my friends little brother got circumsized at like 4 years old I think and the little man had to wear like a dressgown thing for a couple weeks:smh:hope he's not traumatized still

It wasn't that bad...except for when you walked...I think I ended up taking like a week off from work...not cause it hurt but moving around too much didn't allow it to heal properly...I wore a towel for like 2 days...after that I was able to wear pants and shit...

The "painful" part...was getting caught by my coworker/friend on BGOL...she came over to bring some work for me to complete...we were very close not dating though...so we had hung out a few times before...I still had on my towel no big deal...what was fukked up was that I was surfing BGOL (NOT FOR PORN...as I mentioned San Andreas just came out and I was looking for cheat codes)...any way I forgot that I was on BGOL and the screensaver was up...but when I put the work she had brought for me down on the table the screensaver went away and what should she see but all those ads at the top...here I am in a towel just had my shit circumsized and she sees I am "looking at porn"...that shit was embarrassing but shorty was cool about it even though she had a surprised 'what the fukk' look on her face at first... :smh:
