It doesn't say anything in that article about the show being canceled unless I missed something.

As the number of people they arrest who claim to have seen the show I'm starting to worry that one of these days one of them dudes is gonna show up armed for bear ... popping caps in the pitcher of sweet tea, the Jacuzzi, the home made cookies/brownies, the laundry basket, the washer and dryer the cat, the decoy, Chris Hansen and the camera crew once Chris cuts that corner.
And that certainly will be the end of the show.

I've seen quite a few episodes and I can't remember a time when anything they did came off as "entrapment". I fail to see how it's entrapment when those dudes not only chat up the decoys, but will drive from as far as 5 hours to meet the decoy.
