TMZ just posted Tyrese's money issues

Yeah but whats sad is they dont have to do it. Tyrese doesn't have to live like a millionaire when he's not.

You are absolutely right.

I kid u not straight facts im bumping a r and b homie's mixtape .

His Pops is a Motown legend behind the scences. I remeber meeting a particular naturally pretty sista 4 years ago she's a friend of my homie . She was featured as the main girl in a Trey Songz video and posted here a while back.

My boy's sisters are like real wife types no bs. They are beyond attractive. My homie rolls around in a low key car but hangs with some bad women "the ones who ain't on tv got mo ass den the models " Kayne voice. My boy is a writer behind the scences and he has Grammy nods.

Tyrese can overcome this like Robert Downey Jr did his issues. Its no need to be on Ig lecturing folk and flossing . Now folk laughing at dude happy for his stumbles.

This should teach niggas lessons about how we perceive black celebrity ‘wealth’.

Not everybody is Jay-Z and B, and if you dig deeper maybe not even them.

Um gonna give you guys a rule of thumb to go by, cause many of you have never owned a business, this is a rule of thumb to teach you to count money ; take gross 100% subtract half for expenses leaves 50% then subtract half of the 50% for taxes of various kinds leaves 25%. So if you gross 1 million you actualy get 1/4 =250k ,now bills on the other hand are actually larger then they appear cause of interest but thats for another day. so he prolly only actually gets 25k a month from 100k gross but has over 100k in expenses ,that's the real deal ,and all the businessmen and investors on the board know what I am talking about. just remember money is only about 25% of what it appears to be and bills are 2 to 3 times larger then they appear.

Man shut the fuck up.

BGOL etiquette 101.

Tyrese never struck me as someone you should put in the same sentence as wealth, other than to say he doesn't have it.

I expected him to be making well above average, which he is, but not WEALTHY.

. . .and I'm not a Hov fan, and Beyonce doesn't interest me at all, but I would be EXTREMELY shocked if they weren't, collectively, well over 100M. I can't speak for Jay's business ventures, but I know Beyonce's tours and endorsements have paid off VERY well.

Lol @ people looking at a films grossing and thinking an actor deserves part of the revenue. Does he own the franchise? Did he write it? Did he produce it?

I feel like this is a rent vs own thread.

Maybe he lost his wealth during the economic collapse a few years back. In the end you guys really don’t care.

he needs to get out of that hollywood scene, do like chapelle and move someplace low key and just live a normal life for a min, get those expenses down then use the money he makes right not to make more money and live off that, he could be balling again in a few years. he needs to move from being rich, to being wealthy

Hmm.. There going at this kat like they did martin l, kat williams, dave c!! The entertainment society is a bitch, only one way in it and one way out of it!!

But really, there's no way around it. Tyrese should be wealthy. He's made the money, he's just chosen to spend it in dumb ways.

Also unlike Jay Z, I don't see where he's invested in companies that he has any level of ownership in. But his success in entertainment has brought in a LOT of money that no one can scoff at. This aint an issue with having wealth, it's just an issue with spending. He could fund several generations of not even modest living.

Even his intellectual property of he wrote any of his hits is an AMAZING asset that the financial sector is just now looking at.

Shit like that apprexiates without even having to put a new roof on it like you have to with real estate. Now if he has publishing deals? Oops. Gave away the best asset he has.

I have no clue about the man finances but majority of smart people, especially the wealthy do not put money in their name for obvious reasons. So hope this money they are stating is what comes to him in his name.

Most put money into trusts or other vehicles where they can hide their wealth. No smart person with wealth, especially these celebs with wealth managers, should keep bread in their real names. Even businesses.

It's just not smart from a legal standpoint.

He better make that call to Ginuwine & Tank
And tell Ginuwine to go sober up

Genuwine look crazy than a mofo in that pic

But fuck Tyrese nigga sell that big ass Optimus Prime statue you was crip walking in front of ain't even the main character in transformers you clown ass nigga

Years ago, I had a job where I was privy to what actors made. Tyrese made $8mil on the first Transformers. He was the highest paid actor in that movie. Shia Lebouf made $500k.

Let's do some quick H'wood math:

8mil
Less agents commission =10%
Less managers commission =10-15%
Less Lawyer commission = 5%
Taxes (even if he has a loan out company, llc, etc - 15% to 35%

On the low end that's 40% taken off that 8mil is 3.2mil on the high end 5.2mil leaving him with anywhere from 4.8mil to 2.8mil . In Los Angeles, depending on your lifestyle that can get eaten up quick.

Don't get me wrong, he still makes a nice check just off residuals alone, but dude really do need to manage his finances better and downsize where needed. If he's part of a Billion dollar franchise in F&F and he gotta wonder where his next meal is coming from, then he's adulting wrong or just getting played.

He was also guilt trippin women to donate to his foundation.

"I showed up for your events, please, support my wife's event,please....",man,It's hollywood you should never call them friends just a bunch of motherfuckers you happen to know.Next time show up to their events, smile for some pictures and make your way towards the exit.

Big Money Problems
EXCLUSIVE

Tyrese
11/15/17 4:07 PM PST

Tyrese Gibson is not only on the ropes emotionally, but financially as well.

Tyrese submitted legal docs to the court in his ongoing war with ex-wife Norma Gibson, detailing his financials.

The actor pulls in $105,686 every month. That's sweet, except when you look at what he spends. Tyrese says his monthly nut is $107,576, which puts him in the red.

The docs say Tyrese has $884,658 in the bank. He also has real property worth around $1.7 mil.

There's another problem ... he owes his lawyers $133,750.
Can anyone here explain to the fam WHY this chic/ex-wife needs to be PAID $1,290,912 a year seriously?

I like the way you think bro but California state tax for >$1 mill is 13.3% and federal tax on that is 39.6 thats bout 53% tax

california state tax on >$1 million is 13.3%, federal is 39.6 % total 52.9% tax and that don't count local taxes

Not for nothing but when he was stunting talking about making 100k a show with that r&b group the money was paid to an LLC not him or his name.
So that is probably what he has in his name and the rest is in the LLC

california state tax on >$1 million is 13.3%, federal is 39.6 % total 52.9% tax and that don't count local taxes

There is a way to reduce that significant, but to make sure you pay SOME tax, Cali has something call the 'Alternative Minimum Tax', which is different from the Federal AMT, that guarantees you're going to pay SOMETHING significant in Taxes. So, it isn't going to be 52.9 at all, even with local taxes ...

...but, Cali makes sure you don't get too carried away with the deductions.

dont 4get transformers...dude been in arguably 2 of the top 5 biggest franchises money wise...unless he signed a shitty deal ?...hell no ...lol

i can see just to get on signing some dumb shit for the 1st ones but after u established....shiittt....

dude been in 3 billion dollar movies...more seasoned actors than him havent been in any ...lol

He's in a supporting role in all of them. He's not big enough to get participation deals and residuals obviously get smaller and smaller with time. He's making enough to live nicely but not to floss, which you know he has.
