I put my comments in the first time it was posted the other day. As far as reload drills go, it sucks pretty badly.

Only Marines and civilians believe they’re the paramount maneuver force anyway. The rest of us know better. They’re basic marine sucks just as much as an infantry private and won’t growth without mentorship.

Which means about 1000 more reload drills until it becomes instinct.

Big push some years back to equip all ground elements a with optics across the DOD. Even if there was no discernible reason for them to have them. Some politician got involved and it just spread like wildfire. Half the people that got them have no idea how to use them. Cheaper to keep iron sights.
