okay and? Id rather read IGN's reviews, watch some vids of actual content and maybe play it at the local store and make up my own mind. People are throwing around the term like it has some consistent set of criteria that goes along with it but it doesn't. You pretty much gotta be waiting for it when they open and get a delivery. Where as you can more than likely walk into quite a few spots and find a PS3 just sitting there collecting dust.

Apparently Nintendo wasnt letting just anyone make games for them. That explains a somewhat limited amount of games for previous consoles. NOW they are basically like COME MAKE GAMES FOR THE WII. That is a great concept of a game.

But at the same time. Sony will be bringing out games boost their library so I don't think Sony is in any kind of trouble. Sony isn't in direct competition with Nintendo anyway. They are in Comp. with MS. This game will not be a threat to Sony, even though it is a great idea. Props to Lucas Arts for making a game that could really be a great idea for the Wiimote.

Some of those built in things are not necessary for gaming with the 360 as it is for PS3. Wifi, not needed, bluetooth, not needed, HDMI, get the elite, Blu-ray or HD-DVD, it's used for what it's meant for movie playbeck and that's optional as well. You can look at it as the way you say it or, you can see it as get what you need without having to buy stuff you don't want, like Blu-ray or Bluetooth.

i think the wii/ps3 war is due to their release dates being so close together

the ps3/360 is for the hardcore gamers

the key points of the wii was never graphics or hardcore gameplay. That's not what it's about. The ease of use and the interaction is what makes wii a solid gaming system..

the wii units being sold out was a smart one.. and the more i think about nintendo not letting people develope games early is also starting to make sense


with the ps3 and the 360 units were thrown at the stores tons at a time

nintendo kept the units to a small number.. so if MS and sony shipped 100k units to the stores, nintendo shipped 50k units

its smart cause it keeps the demand high

as for the developers not being allowed to develop i was like wtf? and early this week they shipped the kits to developers to make games for the wii..

what i'm realizing about that move is that if nintendo shipped the kits out early good games revolutionary games for a wii system would be out already.. meaning nintendo brand games would probably be overshadowed.. nintendo made their money due to not having developer competition on their own system..


it could have backfired on them.. but all in all it seems to me like a bold yet genius move.. only time will tell i guess

one thing i havent spent money on is games

on impulse i bought gears of war cause of all the hype.. ehh.. its a really good game, i dont see the major hype though

graw2 was worth the purchase it was like having socom.. socom to me is better online wise but graw2 is that shit to play i stand behind that game

dynasty warriors 5 for my son he has always loved that series and now they coming out with dynasty warriors gundam.. same thing but with mechs

and madden, again mainly for my son as he lives breaths and shits football

and marvel ultimate alliance which is crack (but also traded it in to ebgames when my first 360 scratched it up) but am buying again when i feel the need to play it again.. replay value on that one to me is through the roof

but how i save on games is by using gamelfly test the game, play the game send it back if its wack, hold it longer if its decent or buy it from them for less than any store if its worth it and if they are selling it

Well I think if your planning on buying a blu ray player you should just cop the ps3. Even if you plan on buying a stand alone player in the future you'll have 2 and you can send the kids to the back to watch their hd movies while you watch on your surround sound set up. when i signed up for my insurance for my 360 i also took the gameinformer mag deal and thats where i read about "Earth No More" its like a 3D version of fallout
