Time For LL Cool J To Give It Up

LL isn't definitely not what he once was, but would you rather listen to him or this?

This

because it has melody and is catchy

You act like LL was on some positive shit in that song

Sometimes you just listen to music for entertainment.

Why should he give it up? He still got flow... Oh yeah, never mind... This is bgol, home of the criticize every successful black person and embrace black criminals and whores... Got it..

YOU KNOW!

It wasn't good either.

I'm cool on ever hearing it again.

His flow wasn't good at all.

Maybe they can remix it Movado and without LL :dunno:

Your trying too hard to hate. LL is the GOAT

Never said anything about LL being positive, I just don't think it's much worse than some of the shit out there today.

Uncle L clearly felt the sting of that country song and knew he had to do what he always does.

LL is king of the comeback.

His voice doesn't complement the track at all. I hear Jay's flow in him :smh: Imagine Hova's high pitched vocals reciting those lyrics.

I don't know maybe they need to remix. :dunno:

Good grief.:smh:

Yeah, Rakim who had 4 hits, no platinum albums, and hasn't been relevant since the 80's. (except his 1 song on the Juice soundtrack)

Right, like Damon Dash and many others who drops free game, they rather idolize people like Lil Wayne and em. :smh:

The first album went platinum, a few gold albums also but i feel you on what you're saying.

Rakim is still eating off those 4 hits from the 80's though.

I hate when young bucks (rat) chime in on old school hip hop. Reminds me of when Budden got punked by Melle Mel. First of all, back then dudes' hitting gold status meant you had a cohesive album. Tons of hip hop had only two or three good cuts an album. Hits and platinum LPs? After 700,000 sales, lost white folks were copping your album. Rakim was three albums deep when the crossover phase was shunned by purists. And they were one of the first hip hop groups to sign a million dollar contract! Somebody tell 'em. :hmm:

Not a good song, he still has the flow, but the beat and the content don't mix IMO. Mavado also was not riding the beat very well. LL and Marley get back to the lab

:dunno:

It's aight. I made it about 2 min in.

I'm a big LL fan from back in the day and all that and of course his rhymes were tight and skills and all that but the song to me is just ehhh.

But I don't really listen to radio or be checking for the latest songs out.

Dude just needs to get his grown man Will Smith on and go make a movie or do another TV show or something.

Song is decent. Not bad. I never understand why he just didn't embrace what he was good at. Go out and get Neptunes or some pop beats and make them fucking records like Who Do You Love and all that other shit.

Song is not bad though. The beat and Mavado were nice. LL was flowin'. He dumbed his flow down some. Still a nice record. Not worth giving it up just yet.
