Okay I am going to confess, I bought some sweat pants without trying and checking and they turned out to be skinny sweats :smh:

I could not bring them back so I wore them twice when I do the night shift at work on weekends.
So far I got 3 compliment from women at work talking about I got nice legs.

It's weird as hell, still not wearing them daytime though...

Skinny sweats? Lmaoooooo. Of course women liked them. I don't blame you though, I wouldn't wear that shit in the day light. Niggas will be eyeing you.

^^^^^Don't forget the pre ripped holes in the knee like Kanye or some other homo-ish kat has them doing.....Seen a kat on tv wearing zippers instead of holes in the knee.........

The new monkey see monkey do wear these younging are rocking are them saggy crotched, semi tight, Hammer-ish Indian pants that my chick from Japan was rocking abt 3-5 yrs ago.

The chicks, whatever,:dunno: who cares like rocking Uggs, let them do them while being comfortable but dudes :hmm:

So either they look like a track runner going nowhere near nobody's track with the UsainBolts on or
an Indian snake charmer who looks like he shat upon himself.

I'm sure they'll rock the Timbs & all yr round scarf with the silly looking shit any day now if they haven't already.

JaRule was making fun of his son & the gear he was rocking on that followTheRules shit one night.

Son: "I don't wanna look like a clown out in these streets"
Him: "You look like a clown!"

Never purchased a pair of work boots for style.....

When I worked construction all I wore were timbs because they were quality and lasted.

The quality suffered when they became a fashion statement though..

The funny thing is number of people who wore work boots and ain't never had a job.

REAL TALK going on here. ^^^^^

IMHO unless your working construction or outside in rough conditions, most people wear/wore Timbz as a sign a "BLACKNESS".

I tried some on once them shits were hard as a rock and uncomfortable. I don't have to hurt my feet to prove my "BLACKNESS", I can let my SKIN speak for me. WAKE UP PEOPLE, the boots don't make you who you are but, they can make you a "FOOL".

For me it's like the air max 95 (grey w/ volt). I will cop a pair of the 6" (Wheat Nubuck) every other year.

Other styles I fux wit!

Still Wear Beef & Broccoli's

Yo, I had those back in the day. Like 93? I saw this young cat rocking them at a store. I was like , when did they re-release those? Said he got'em online. They look a little different but it was a versatile Timberland.

Co-sign DTown and DTruth. He was one of those new aged cats. Nothing too ridiculous, but wasn't beating anybody down. Ever.

Frank the Butcher's Top 25 Boots of All Time

Making a list like this is making a distinction between sneakers and boots. Growing up there wasn’t always a clear line between choices. Boots were as common as wearing J’s. Me personally, I would say in the beginning wearing boots was just a smart financial choice. My parents were not in any position to pour their hard earned into an infinite rotation of the latest and greatest. Boots were something I could wear for a long period of time without looking uncool — especially through the hell we called winter. On the flip side of that coin, boots represented something else to me. They were a symbol of handling your business, standing on your own, not swaying and following the trends. I still stand by those attributes today and still wear boots regardless of how much eBay heat is in storage. —FRANK THE BUTCHER

I wear my Caribou when Armageddon hits. Greg Lucci of Gourmet told me stories of the Caribou being the first unofficial snowboard boot. He would literally strap them into his binding."

10. Vasque Skywalk "Tan/Navy"
Frank says: "My close friend Jon Piniero from the Bronx put me on to these in the mid '90s and I was instantly in love. Nothing beats the Tan (almost Bone) / Navy combo. Vasque in the past years went urban with the brand, but I pray they return to their roots."

9. Timberland Iditarod Superboot (40 Belows)
Frank says: "East Coast early to mid '90s must-have. The 40 Below was the boot of all boots with a stature as tall as the boot itself. Not for the faint of heart, this model was statement. I applaud Alife for bringing this boot back in the fall of 2009. Bishop had a gun tucked in his. 'Yo, Q!'"

8. Timberland 6” Field Boot x Concepts – ConOps
Frank says: "How dare I put something I worked on on this list? I know man.

"I respect the legacy of Timberland too much to pretend that I can slide one onto the list above them, but this situation is different. I had the opportunity to take on the 6” Timberland Field Boot as a project for Concepts and made the boot almost indestructible. All blacked-out military grade materials and a puncture-proof sole made the‘Con-Ops’ boot something I will own forever. We took something great and made it bombproof. Shouts to all the heads that continue to tell me that it’s their favorite boot."

7. Red Wing 875

4-timberland-6-premium-black

4. Timberland 6” Premium "Black Nubuck"
Frank says: "This is the only other 6” Premium version that will get my respect. So don’t show up with a royal blue pair or get clowned out your shoes. This boot also sits comfortably with a high-end getup — word to @BrekOne."

3-Timberland Field Boot–Brown-Green

3. Timberland Field Boot "Beef & Broccoli"

1-timberland-6-inch-wheat
iwuosft98yetivifqxtc.jpg

1. Timberland 6” Premium "Wheat"
Frank says: "The king of boots is the 6” Premium Wheat. There is nothing more perfect in all of footwear to me, sneakers included. The shape, nubuck, ankle padding and lug sole are all trademarks made famous by Timberland model 10061. This boot has been my go-to since the age of 13, and every year since I have had multiple pairs on deck ready for action. I don’t care who used to wear them, who currently wears them or who’s the next to announce that they are 'off that.' I’m staying put."

Gotta remember, there are two different qualities
It's like cheap version and a Premium version. You can always tell by the sole
Cheap one is plastic, Premium is more rubbery

Yeah, and the premium are waterproof and probably have the anti-fatigue souls. The version sold at the Timberland outlets are the cheaper versions. They were going for $60 a pair before Christmas.
