Tim Bradley: Pacquiao is Declining, I'll Beat Him Easier!

WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley is very much in favor of a staging an immediate rematch against Manny Pacquiao. Bradley won a controversial twelve round split decision over the Filipino superstar on June 9th in Las Vegas. He feels Pacquiao is declining and no longer the same pound-for-pound boxer who battered opponents like Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto. Bradley told hometown paper, The Desert Sun, that he'll beat Pacquiao even "easier" in the rematch. Pacquiao is scheduled to return on November 10th and Bradley is one of the possible options for the date.

"He's declining, honestly he is declining. He had me hurt in the fourth round, he didn't try to come out and finish me, the old Manny would've. The old Manny would've, I just think there's a lot of wear and tear on him, his mind is in 50,000 different places. He's got his newfound religion and stuff like that, and I just feel like maybe he's worn out, honestly. I have a busy schedule but his schedule is like all day busy, like 24/7, he never stops moving. Even when I saw him in the press conference I was like, “This guy looks tired.” I saw his eyes, I saw the bags underneath his eyes. I was like this guy is tired. I don't even think this guy wants to be here," Bradley said.

My real point was that everyone saying it was a shutout and it wasn't, it was close no matter who got the decision. Pac took rounds off while Bradley was usually busy, actually boxing and not trying to brawl for 1/3 of the fight. Then they're counting bullshit that never even hit Bradley, which showed even more how well he was actually doing. It was obvious that Pac was the harder puncher, but thats it.

I was watching the same bullshit you were but saw it different. I saw a dude without power try to stand and bang then eventually box and jab, but he stayed BUSY. BUSY means doing something then just standing there for 2 minutes. I saw the other guy literally do nothing for 2 minutes, then exactly when it turned to the last minute, he goes off and the crowd "ooohhhhssss" even when he misses.

And the fight was judged by ROUNDS. If pac had did that in every round then he could've won, but he didn't, didn't come close to knocking dude out. If Bradley sucked so much then Pac should've knocked him out or at least busted his lip or something...but whats the excuse for that though because I know one is coming

We all have seen it. I have been complaining about the commentators for years... and? They aren't shit and if you are swayed by them, you aren't shit either. Pac still beat him though... pay attention to the video and notice how it reviews and rewinds the moments within the same 4 to 5 rounds. It is easy to edit up a highlight reel that makes any fighter look good even if the footage is taken from a fight in which the fighter lost.
