I too must admit I'm spending more time off BGOL or over on SOL because the discussions and views on the mainboard lack maturity. As I discussed just yesterday with one of this boards mods I really feel sorry for today's black woman. There doesn't seem to be many men out there to select from, intellectually speaking.

There's always something negative to say about every black woman posted. Regardless of her level of success, regardless if she sings, she's an athlete, actress, model or even pornstar.

Interesting read on Shane's reply I had no idea the age limit on viewing porn was so young. Maybe that explains the lack of sensitivity on the mainboard. Yet and still there still seems to be problems outside the cyber world. That is whats really depressing. I hate seeing black women dating outside the race but the more I see the more I understand. I still hate it but I do understand.

For many black males its time to step up and become men!

Sad but true and much of it stems from a breakdown in the family unit. Young black men accept what they see in videos as real world. Its how they want and expect to live. But when your learning about life from BET you are already lost. Then add to the vid the negative messages many directed towards women and its understandable why so many black males are failing at life.

One of my closest friends runs a Rites of Passage program (west coast-based, trying to take it nationally) for EXACTLY this very reason.

Bigreg2007, I agree wholeheartedly except for Dr. Truth. I've beefed with him in the past but I like his on-board persona, truth be told; still, some of the things he's said in the past about black women vs. asian women...

I can"t believe that anybody would take internet e-thugery seriously or any of the comments of these anonymous people as truth or as any indication of how they would react in real life. I think at times people just post things to see the reaction. Having read a lot of threads on my time here i don't let internet interaction infringe on how I interact with real people in the real world

I agree. Women need to toughen up their skins. A porn site by its nature will have a number of anti social people, those that fear or are unable to deal with sex in a healthy context. I take strangers on the internet with a grain of salt. The world is filled with weirdos!

There are some wild animals on BGOL that need to be caged or put down.

That whole thread was offensive to me. It is responses like those is the reason I choose not to fuck with the main board anymore. When I first read Femms, responds I was like damn, what she going off about now. But after reading the first page of that trash, It's like going back to high school and listening to all the jr. type of conversations and think "someday young boy I hope you get it".
