I respect the fact that you're the elder statesman of the board, but knock it off with the idea that anyone who disagrees with you must be a 20 year old. I know you have kids and I believe grandkids. Can you honestly tell me their futures didn't become a lot more uncertain after November 8th? Yes, Black people as a whole will survive the next four years, but some won't. Don't we want more as a people than just surviving?
I don't always reply, but I read a lot of your posts. Sometimes I think you're too critical of Obama, but there are other times when you're spot on. In the past, you've posted articles about his expansion of executive power, the NSA spying on US citizens, giving the Bush administration and Wall Street a pass, drone strikes, etc. Say what you will, Obama is a decent, smart and thoughtful man who didn't live up to some of the huge expectations placed on his shoulders (and a few of the more reasonable ones). Trump is the exact opposite, but with the same expanded power and an inner circle of lunatics. His presidency won't be the worse thing to ever happen to Black people, only a fool would think in that extreme, but you'd also be foolish by not showing any concern.
