I got bumped up from 10% disability to 70% military disability and I'm about to file the paperwork over the next couple days for PTSD to get me bumped up to 100% disability, about $40,000/yr tax-free ($3,330/mo)

But that's not on Biden. I'm just mad that it took me twenty years to push for it. I could have been getting this since the early 2000s

From 2010-2014 the VA went through a much needed overhaul and one of the main benefits is they made it easier for veterans to get their claims through. I knew it felt differently but when I was getting discharged, my physician explained to me the how things were prior to the new standards and practices that were implemented under Obama i.e. plowing through years of backlogs of claims, modernizing the appeals process etc.

Waiting 20 years from here on out is going to be a thing of the past.

I set up a 72 yr old Vietnam veteran a couple weeks ago. He was in the military equivalent to Internal affairs so his military records don't even say that he was in Vietnam when he was. He also fell down a flight of stairs while they're at his records don't show that either

Hopefully the company that help me increase my disability can get him his increase as well
