Stephen Miller’s hair-raising rhetoric has gone to his head.
The senior adviser to the President appeared Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation” where a new patch of what appears to be hair had overtaken the glowing bald spot once atop his head.
The 33-year-old right-winger’s new fashion statement was not lost on social media.
“Stephen Miller proves the cover-up is worse than the crime,” tweeted a user under the handle @skolanach.
“I did Nazi that coming!” tweeted @NaveedAJamali, adding “He’s not just the Chief Architect of the Muslim Ban and every dispecable (sic) race-baiting act, he’s also a client!”
The reference was to the famed 1982 Hair Club for Men ad in which once-balding company founder Sy Sperling declared he was not just the company’s president, but he also used the hair-replacement service.
Website themarysue.com led the mockery of Miller with an article comparing him to a mostly skin-headed “Lord of the Rings” character.
“Senior Trump adviser and Gollum impersonator Stephen Miller appeared on the CBS news program Face the Nation to discuss immigration and border security,” the site wrote.
Those who got past Miller’s follicle folly heard him insist President Trump would shut down the government if he doesn’t get congressional funding to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico.
“If it comes to it, absolutely,” the combative Miller said. “This is a very fundamental issue."
Miller’s far-right politics, particularly with regards to immigration, have been rebuked publicly by his own family.
The Duke University graduate’s uncle, Dr. David Glosser, wrote an editorial for Politico in August calling his nephew an “immigration hypocrite” whose own family entered the U.S. in the early 1900s, from what is now Belarus in eastern Europe, to avoid persecution.
“I have watched with dismay and increasing horror as my nephew, an educated man who is well aware of his heritage, has become the architect of immigration policies that repudiate the very foundation of our family’s life in this country,” Glosser wrote.
Glosser later told CNN he spoke up against his nephew at the urging of “dozens” of family members.
