LOL at Black folks calling themselves POC. I called out an educator the other day talking about POC students literacy rates. I said no you mean Black kids rates are behind because Blacks always have a different path then other races. You cannot lump folks together like that.

Because all the Asian guys I work with have already told their kids whats it going to be and these kids are in middle school at the highest...most are in private elementary schools. Its why I laughed when Obama said Kamala grew up like us. You dont become a doctor by accident. Especially not in an Indian house. They started developing their kids on these paths as soon as they can walk. I see their kids and am terrified for black kids in the future because its a train coming that folks dont even see. You think your kids are going to have fun as a kid, then start to learn coding in college and compete? Not a chance in the world.

You speak as if Black kids and these selectively immigrant kids are starting from the same place.

But they’re not “in the wild”, at least not in the U.S.. You’re comparing the Black American population as a whole against groups of selectively curated immigrants.
For example, Indian and Nigerian immigrants tend to rank at the top of educational attainment and household income here in the America, due to selective immigration. But what’s going on in their home countries?

NYC Specialized High Schools are dominated by children of poor Asian immigrants. And when the previous mayor tried to "diversify" enrollment, the Asians organized politically to stop it.
As I've said before, these people don't care about the history of discrimination...the past.....they are focused on the future.

All hispanics in Georgia where this used to be black work. If you have black jobs taken, and you are behind the 8-ball with the high tech jobs, whats left?

Thats why the POC thing has failed. Black Americans will always have more in common with white Americans than with any other group. Theres a shared cultural identity there that folks like to pretend doesnt exist.

The idea of civil rights being a net positive in society. White folks, even the most closeted racist person, thinks civil rights was something they achieved. Asians dont view equality that way. Asian society, by virtue of culture bred from high population, views "Lording over inferior groups" a virtue. The Donkey of Guizhou is brought to Africa, the caribbean, and your hood.

This is something that people truly fail to consider about immigrants. Most are coming from cultures, societies, and histories where the idea of "human equality" is a totally foreign concept. And most of the ones coming to the U.S. are selectively chosen from the higher classes and castes of their home countries.
