I've done standup in NYC for almost a decade and I've never seen her. I'm happy that even in a pandemic she was able to flourish. But from what other comics have told me, she does more than impressions... She's an author and other things.

Strangely most comics I see try to stay away from politics. Also it’s so easy to say “Fuck Trump” so there’s not much to say there.

All the late night guys, SNL, and certain standup’s are Trump Central. A few weeks ago I was on a show with Michael Rappaport and the entire set was shitting on Trump.
I thought it was good. But what I’ve also experienced is NY is a fucking bubble so politics talk is cool....but once you’re on the road in some small town... Politics can turn any crowd.
Hitting the road in 2016 made me realize Trump had a great shot to win.
