The times now reminds me of the end of feudalism and the great plague. The ruling class had no more power over the poor. The poor just walked off the manor and found other employment in the cities. The worker now see they have rights and they can make it without these fucked up jobs, so they are making the rich pay them what they are worth. They rich like the society the way it is, and they don't want a systemic break down of this society, so they will start paying people a living wage. If people stop doing anything, then there will be chaos, and believe me, no rich person want to live like all the rest of us. So, they will pay the money required to keep this same game going. Same shit happened in Roman. The wealthy made war games for the masses to keep them for revolting because it was horrible for the regular citizen. Shit lasted a couple hundred years before shit hit the fan. It hit the fan then because Rome had a run of dumb ass leaders. It was the Third century crisis. Man, I am forgetting a lot of this shit. I got to start reading again.

This was always going to happen but the pandemic made it happen sooner

Gotcha. You just better than us. And we agree. @shaddyvillethug

Tito>>>>>>>>>>>>>
He’s lying to you.. that’s on his off days.. usually he would’ve delivered about 5 babies, helped put out 3 4 alarm fires, fed 1000 homeless people, grew 100 trees, and did an open heart surgery or 2 b4 7am.. he gave you his lazy day schedule

They need to bring it back for another year. What is wrong with labor shortages, where a company is limited based on attracting employees? There has been job shortages for centuries where our income has been throttled based on the decision of companies.

You might have to wait in a long ass line for fast food, but it is better than showing up and not having any money to eat because there was no jobs available for you.

This is healthy, it effeminizes these companies, they had become way to masculine in the past.

What about the small businesses that cannot afford to pay $20-25/hr because the products or services they offer don't command enough and margins are slim?

All business owners ain't billionaires.

I'm in the labor industry (manual labor) and we have to have insurance to get on a ladder and clean gutters, to operate big mowers by the roadside, even to just blow leaves in the parking lot of your favorite grocery store. General liability insurance, workers comp insurance, commercial auto insurance, payroll, fuel, etc.

Its more complex than many are making it out to be.
1. Not many people want to do these jobs (or are just not able)
2. Many people undervalue these jobs & the people doing them. They still gotta eat too
3. Everyone wants to get rich quick. Nobody values making a consistent living
4. So many people's values are skewed. They'll go to publix or starbux & gladly get overcharged but won't tip the guy that put tires on their car or the tow truck driver. :smh:
