I copped these about 2 months ago cuz I travel for work, and I figured I could use em in hotels (I hate hotel gyms, plus they're all different). When I can't hit my gym here in ATL, I figured I'd do this so I don't lose it.

This shit really works.

I like doing different excercises at home with em now, and the more I do em, the more creative I get. My chick just got hip to the pilates stuff she can do with them, and I'm having to make her go get her own:lol:

I've toned a good bit more in the time since I started using em. I highly recommend em for those who can't afford a home gym, or even if you can.

Also, that pull up bar that fits in the doorway. Theres lots you can do at home now fellas, without breakin the bank.

Which package did you get?

Thanks for the review. The wife and I are looking to get something like this. She's on her Insanity kick right now.

i'd be curious to know how much you paid?,,, i have some regular 30 lbs bands that i paid $20 for brand new,,, only difference between mine & these is the metal clips & T.O.'s name on it,,,

I said 100. the guy in the vid shows you the difference in durability between TO's and the P90's. Looking at the others, I can see a difference, but hey, do you.

I'm not mad that I'm out of 100.

they do appear to be a better quality band because of the metal,,, but i'm not sure that all of that is necessary,,, i've had mine for over a year with no problems at all,,, if you are happy with your purchase, that's all that is important,,, but after watching the vid, i still think both t.o.'s & the regular bands will give you the same results,,, it's a great way to workout tho,,, have fun

i'll tell you the big difference..its caused a scar on my bicep because of it.

i had gold's gym bands with plastic clips. i bench pretty heavy when i use traditional weights so i combined 3 different weight bands together and started doing some exercises. i was doing some overheads and one of the bands slipped out of the handle and snapped on my arm. if you put enough resistance on the bands, the plastic clip piece that locks it to the handle may snap back.

the TO set, use locking clips like mountain climbers use, they have a heavy hinge that snaps to the locking position. just having that extra assurance has meant everything. and NO i wasn't doing the exercise wrong, the bands were just some shit.

quality wise, it's night and day..seriously

TO Bands are more durable, I was using a Harbinger band about 4x a week and I was on my 3rd after 6 months, I've had the Bodylastics since March and I have had no issues with bands snapping. Another benefit is the door anchor is much more stable than alot of other brands. I had to learn the hard way that when using the door anchor to different workouts, there's only so far you can stand from the door and stretch the bands before that anchor will give out and snap back at you. Shit hit me so hard it drew blood, I can do the same shit with the bodylastics and not have that anchor come loose.

It doesn't matter how much you paid as long as your gear doesn't collect dust - or in this case dry rot. If you let it dry rot then you deserve the pop in the head when it breaks and snaps back at you. I'm about to jump on $20 Walmart bands right now. I had my bench for a couple years and didn't realize until a couple days ago I could raise the back up 45 degrees to do military presses and leg raises and of course arm/shoulder flys with the bands..
