Don't spend money. In Ohio, we've got a grocery store chain called Giant Eagle. Giant Eagle also owns Gas Stations called GetGo.
You buy groceries and every $50 you spend gets you $0.10 per gallon off gas. So $200 gets you $0.40 off a gallon of gas - even if all you are gonna a do is buy gas with that card.
Every month, I buy so many $200 Visa gift cards. Instead of spending my money or even shopping at Giant Eagle when I don't need to because their prices are higher, I get these gift cards to pay Bill's, etc.
At Giant Eagle, alcohol sales do not count toward your ten cents off BUT if you buy a gift card...
Most times, by the end of the month I have free gas. I buy two 5 gallon gas cans and keep them in my trunk.
Boom. I work from home, so I don't spend as much on gas as I used to , but this is a great way to save some money on gas and using the money you were going to spend anyway

The privelged got electric cars. The technology was charged to benefit the click. When ev's were great and reasonable priced. They were going to out replace gas cars. So the government and the gas companies outlawed the evs. People protested and they bought them back with a catch.
