Thermostat question for the fam...

Where exactly on a '01 Mazda Tribute is the thermostat located? I switched out one a long time in my first car but forget where it may be. Any knowledgeable info would be great. Thanks.

probably radiator hose end nearer 2 the engine block

generally it's in the housing at the end of the upper radiator hose.
