well...one of my favorites has to be from princess tutu which was about transcending destiny

general premise is that she is a duck...that could turn into a princess...but she had to come to the realization that she was just a duck...once she accepted this she was able to transcend her destiny and find ultimate happiness while still being able to fulfill her dreams...even as just a duck

i know it sounds silly but it was a cute series with a good message
