I tried not to get caught up in this case because I wasn't confident in the outcome. I was hopeful when the prosecution put on a decent closing (I didn't get to see the defense) and when the jury looked like they were considering manslaughter but there was never a moment that I saw that said "x,y,z cinched it, he's going to jail." My heart goes out to the Martin family and I hope you all stay safe and don't get caught up in anything that will put yourselves at risk. Vent wisely.
