Great. But, you're talking about the perception, and not what I'm actually saying..
I'm not discussing whether it's working or not, I'm just saying that's all the defense can do at this point. He'll talk in circles, and try to jam her up about shit she lied about in the past to paint her as a liar..

Obviously there isn't one. Sorry ya'll if I sound cold but I'm frustrated with her giving Trayvon's mom the run around. I'm pissed that that this woman's child and baby is murdered and her goofy stupid ass is talking about "I'm scared and I avoided them"...I'm frustrated because she's dumb and even more when a woman is looking for justice and is could be denied it because you don't feel like helping.
He got her to admit that she lied or left out things etc though. Although her description and her emotion about the funeral make her definitely sympathetic, the parts that she lied about and the fact that she left some things out... that plays right into the defense strategy. If her testimony ended right after she described what happened before the phone went dead, the witness would have been a prosecution win... but between her demeanor, and the other stuff I mentioned, I can't see this as a win for them at this point. Maybe on re-direct they can fix it up a bit, but I'm doubting it.
Man folks gotta see that her being so silly actually plays to the youth factor.......

that part was VERY effective... but if any juror is leaning towards Zimmerman already, any untruth, especially under oath, can be used to throw out her whole testimony. That will be part of the jury instructions before deliberations.

I think the fact that she copped to him saying "crazy cracka" adds believability to her. That's something that someone trying to lie in favor of the prosecution could and would have left out. I just wish she was a better witness though.

One "lie" was about her age, the other about attending the funeral. She effectively answered, explained and addressed them all. Neither go toward her lack of credibility as a witness recounting details of the event. It was a terrible attempt to impeach. And her inability to articulate worked in her favor as the defense spoon fed her reason and rationale behind her dishonesty on those accounts. This was a failure for the defense.

but it's about the jury though. 5 of them being white jurors who may or may not have bad feelings towards young black men. Any lie, no matter how simple and whether or not it had anything to do with the actual shooting... those lies can be used by a juror to impeach the rest of her testimony. That's all I'm saying. The judge will say straight up that a lie can be used by you to throw out all or any part of a witnesses testimony.
Defense knows she can not read nor comprehend.
