A while back…. Myself, my homie and a local principal did something like this.
There was three stations…
Tire changing
Operating a zero turn
Putting in a tie
It was pretty kool because there’s a young black couple with huge ass house in the area. The principal felt showing them the house was a good motivational moment.
Its crazy because his house, was the talk of the town when he built it.
It was an awesome event, Him and his wife grilled food for the kids. They were able to swim, play a little flag football… just a great vibe.
The principal son came outside and hung out for a minute. At the time he was a top player in the state, about to commit. His older brother already play at Mississippi State, so the questions was geared to LSU or State but he went elsewhere.
They also took the kids to the World War museum in New Orleans.
One of my old ideas, I’m probably gonna present to them is bringing some kids to Angola our state penitentiary. A couple years back, I made arrangements but Covid happened. The facility was shutdown to outside visitors, so that been on that back burner.
I’m do a HBCU road trip also…
I’m thinking something like Southern, Jackson State, Alabama State and Tuskegee
