Temu Hurt Business? The Hurt Business who came dressed in suits and presented themselves as elite athletes who excelled as wrestlers?
I mean so what is the difference between Vince's WWE and Triple K's WWE?
They were presented in the exact opposite way of 946 who are presented as being street thugs.
...that's why I called them Temu Hurt Business!
And unfortunately The Hurt Business was never collectively in the main event picture like 946 is right now

....and were is the Hurt Business at now? I'm confused are you refuting my claims? Because you seem to be making my point for me!

Haven't been watching or really keeping up with wrestling over the last few months, just following it along Twitter and this thread. I know Hobbs/Keys is up there in age, but I feel like there is more upside with the Temu Hurt Business than in the original Hurt Business when they were originally had their short run during the pandemic. It would have been nice to see Hurt Business have a feud with the OG Bloodline though. They carried WWE during the pandemic.

The mad dragon is on his way

Can't wait for him to be forgotten about in a month like every other wrestler that gets released from WWE, lol (Looking at you Kofi and Austin Creed)
Honestly never cared for him that much in WWE, but I hear he had some "bangers" in NXT so I'm sure his style fits more in AEW.

I don't think there is! Jacob beat the brakes off of Hobbs. Two weeks later 946 is attacking The Bloodline with no explanation. Adding Jadia with no explanation. Adding a masked man who immediately unmasks as Carmelo...didn't really need a mask. There is more story being told with Solo and LA Knight!!! Seth/Austin was masked for what seemed like months when The Vision first appeared. Gave numerous promos about why they were forming. 946 just feels like they're here for a good time, not a long time. They just needed something for War Games and they'll be gone by Janurary.

That does not feel like six years ago!!!

Looking at it from an age standpoint. Hurt Business had a old MVP, old Lashley, and Old Benjamin. Cedric was the youngest of the bunch in that original run.

Outside of Keys, the members of 946 are all late twenties/early thirties, so upside is there. Hell, at one point, the original Judgement Day was seen as corny and became one of the more popular stables WWE had. I see the 946 using a similar formula.

What doesn't make sense to you?
Royce formed 946 as payback to Jacob (who he thought was his boy) and the Bloodline.
Jaida and the other two members were together as OTM in NXT so their alliance makes sense.

The original Judgement Day cut promos as to what and why they were doing what they're doing. Adding members, removing members. Again, what is the purpose of this? JD Funko Pop promos so they got time, but we still don't know what is going on with them.

Then how is 946 the heel here? Payback for being a friend and trying to help a friend out doesn't make a hell of a lotta sense

And if you don't watch NXT how do you know that? If it is so known what was the purpose of the swerve when Jaida first came to RAW?

I don't know there's a true "heel" or "babyface" in this feud. Roman Reigns and The Bloodline are still technically heels.
I do agree they should have done a better job giving a backstory about the history of OTM in NXT for those that don't watch and the three-second "swerve" from Jaida (where she pretended running over Jacob as an accident) was unnecessary.

I am going based on the commentary. Jacob made Royce bleed from the mouth. Then these same commentators had a problem with Solo getting kidnapped. Honestly you try an kill me for trying to help you out...I GOTS TA do a little kidnapping! WWE likes to make you forget the bad shyt that was done to someone when they want you to be the heel, and this seems to always seems to happen to the Black wrestlers

It's just lazy. The amount of story telling before 946 with Jacob and Royce was significant. Now there is nothing, you remind the crowd of yeah, you beat the shyt out of him when he was trying to help you, the boos tend to go a different way. Same shyt happened with Bianca and Rhea. Bianca wins the match. Rhea just signs a contract that doesn't have her name on it and gets into the match and cheered. Commentary does nothing to note that this is heel behavior. It's: "Oh, fans like this person so we go mute when they're doing their fcuk shyt!"

Your point made no sense because the 2 groups are nothing alike beyond having black people in them. Being the Temu version would infer that they're the lesser version of them which would require some similarities and relying solely on color is a weak rationale.
Amd where are they now really has no point because you were comparing the 2 in WWE and then brought up their status in AEW. If anything you would be making my point that the 2 aren't alike. 946 is in a top storyline in main event spots and The Hurt Business aren't.

I disagree a little, I think this is where they were blurring Real Life vs Kayfabe, The backstoory of Jey Uso and Jaida dating in real life. Added to her call up to the main roster. When she pulls up Jey ask what are you doing here as if there's history there between them. She says she was there to see Adam Pierce. The swerve could have played out a little better. I would have shown Jaida getting an agreement from Pearce. Jaida could have got in the car to call Jey to show her excitement about a contract. Distracted driving she hits and runs over Jacob. She gets out the car Jey comes to check on his cousin. Out comes 946, Jey puts Jaida behind her to protect her and stand to fight 946, from there Jaida hits Jey with the low blow.
