Road Dogg was asked about how things have changed in WWE since AEW has been around.“It’s definitely a thing. When it comes to renegotiation time, you’re going to lock some people down that you don’t want to go there. Truth be told, there is such a wide range of talent. I don’t watch shows for one talent. The rosters are such that you’re going to see a range of talent, male and female. It’s definitely a thing you’re going to talk about. If Santos Escobar is going to go there to make a difference, maybe you say, ‘We’ll re-sign you for three years.’ The difference is, I think the booking used to be about wrestling, and maybe it’s always been about the money, and I just thought it was about the wrestling. It feels like it’s all about the money now. They can go over there and make some money too, so the money is deciding everything. It feels like WWE, for me, was a money grab. It didn’t feel right."

TNA X-Division Champion Cedric Alexander says he didn't feel important during his NXT run prior to his WWE exit, but now feels useful in TNA Wrestling:"I was down in NXT a while, I didn't feel important, I didn't feel useful."Ever since coming to TNA, I found my spot. I feel useful. There are things for me to do. "There are ways that I can help, and grow, not only grow myself, but grow the business. I feel like I'm doing something instead of sitting idly by and watching the world pass me by

Kay Lee Ray says her WWE contract expired, rather than being released. "For me, it happens. There seems to be a pattern with this. My contract was up. I knew it was coming up and I had the decision of whether I wanted to stay or not. I know some other people got fired and they have the 90-day clause. Because mine was just contract ending, it means I didn’t have the 90 days and I was able to come and do this. Do it as like kind of a surprise but I know it wasn’t really a surprise. But, yeah, really glad it worked out this way."I had fun. Honestly, from start to end. I got the job that I wanted to and I had fun while I was doing it with my friends. Now I get to come back and almost like start again. Fun."

Kay Lee Ray clarifies that her WWE contract expired, which is why she doesn’t have a 90 day non-compete:“My contract was up, and I knew it was coming up. I had the decision of whether I wanted to stay or not. I know some other people got fired and they have the 90 days clause, but because mines was just a contract ending, that means I didn’t have the 90 days and I was able to come and do this [Pro Wrestling EVE]. And do it as kind of a surprise but I know it wasn’t really a surprise. But yeah, really glad that it worked out this way.”
