Probably so we talk about him on the forums like this one and reddit lol it seems to work with his smarmy shit eating heel shtick, he's leaning into his punchable face. If I was aew I would never stop shitting on WWE, they have really nothing to lose.
I never thought about that way. He probably don't give a shit about WWE but knows if he talks about them, people will talk about him. Fits right into his character.

WWE - 23 belts across their brands which I think is fine

Aew 10 belts lol also think is fine lmao y'all fanboys.
I'm not a fan of the number of belts in both companies.
There should be only ONE world championship, ONE mid-card championship, and ONE tag-team championship each for the men and women.

I don't count the NXT, Evolve, ID, TNA, etc. championships since you almost never see them on the main roster.

AEW on the other hand has ROH, countless foreign, and all of Mercedes' titles on their main shows regularly.
That's in addition to their "main" AEW titles, half of which seem to overlap with each other.
Can anyone coherently explain what the hell a "National" championship is?

People on reddit and here talking about him is not bringing any business to AEW, he's just another troll on Twitter hoping to get noticed by the mainstream. At least Becky Lynch's tweets are progressing a storyline and get discussed in the mainstream like ESPN.

Yeah man I agree overall on the belt thing, I'm an old school fan and an old school fan of boxing and MMA and the less belts the better, boxing never got that memo lol championships should be special and the fact that there's so many belts dilutes what they mean. My argument was more that both companies handle their belts roughly the same relative to roster size and the number of brands and that it's not the main issue for either company. Creative is horrid at WWE and not much better at aew. Talent is not the problem at either company, they literally can't figure out enough shit to do with all the talent, it's these shitty writers.

I fuckin' LOVE, Wren Sinclair. She's cute with her strong ass chin and got a nice booty.

MJFs face lol

That's the I don't wanna piss anybody off on either side off face.

He's a white jewish, dude from Long Island. He don't fuck with white trash and he says it all the time in his promos. The difference is they think he's playing a role so he can't piss them off cause they buy movie tickets too.

To be fair he was pretty great in lucha underground and the Indies, but yeah his WWE legacy is that of mostly jobbing.
Cause he got no bars. Same with Shelton. Same with Bobby. The best thing to happen to Bobby's career was linking up with MVP.

Black wrestlers, the only character they had back then was being ghetto & those 3 don't fit that profile at all so writers didn't have shit for them.

Now we got Trick. The flyest, best dressed dude in the game. Je'von, the young, high flying OG & Oba, whose character is being a fucking beast. 3 great characters and they all just happen to be Black.

It's a shame because that doesn't come naturally for everyone but every person you mentioned could have developed given the time, just look at hbk at the beginning of his career and at his peak when it comes to mic work. Like you said they only had one black archetype in wrestling at the time so they never even got a chance to find a space for their character, Hell look at maven as another good example of someone who didn't get mic time and is now known basically for his great communication skills. Sad shit.

But very happy for and proud of so many of the up and coming black talent across all the feds right now, so many different characters and styles. It's amazing.

Bobby Lashely and Shelton Benjamin are just naturally not outspoken and over-the-top characters/personalities.
Shelton could have been world champion in WWE in his prime if MVP was instead his manager/mouthpiece. He had everything else going for him.
Hell, Shelton could be AEW champion NOW with MVP as his manager/mouthpiece.

Man I want a aew champion Shelton run! He'll get all the love and appreciation for his talents at aew and it would be a great cap to his career.

Also absolutely @sheltin should have been WWE champ with MVP as manager. We all know why that would never happen back then.

Yeah, but let's see how long trick, oba & Je'von last in WWE because them CAC wrestlers get pushed more being in those main event matches while black wrestlers don't get the same treatment. So, I do want to see black wrestlers succeed but that's hard to do when you got a racist dude booking and running things.

I'm hoping that money talks and you know tko only gives a fuck about money. They're very over with a lot of the fans right now, I'm hoping they get pushed accordingly.
