CM Punk. The guy was a ratings draw whose return to wresting garnered a ton of eyes. The fact that TK chose the Young Bucks/Jack Perry over Punk is laughable. Especially when you consider how anti-ratings the Young Bucks are.
Rhodes leaving was definitely a hit but AEW could have at least stopped the bleeding with CM Punk on the roster. The minute TK chose the Young Bucks & Jack Perry over Punk, that started the decline of AEW.

I've never been a dedicated wrestling fan and at that point I had never seen CM punk wrestle and only really knew him from his controversial interview.
Yet even I was huped by his arrivak just based iff if his arrival while in Chicago and the crowd reaction. I watched that shit mad times just because of that.
