I'm sorry but I just don't buy that. If Jericho and the Elite really had their way the show would look 10 times different than what it is now. Hell, it would probably be a better product. Instead we still have Dark Order taking up airtime on Dynamite while Miro is nowhere to be seen. We have Jade in a feud with Nyla Rose that nobody cares about. The Women's World Champion is an after thought as Britt Baker and Saraya get in-ring mic time on Dynamite. Jeff Jarrett getting airtime in 2022. The force feeding of ROH stuff on AEW TV. I could go on but I'm not gonna beat horse.

I still believe part of the reason why Cody left wasn't because of the Elite or Jericho it was because he wanted to be the booker and Tony said no.

The show looks exactly the way they envision. Jericho gets all his corny JAS stuff and before that, Inner Circle, stuff on the air.
The football fuckery match, the mimosa match, all the other corny RAW-type shit is all from Chris Jericho's mind.

All the Japanese girls being featured on TV that almost no one knows about in this country is all Omega.

FTR not getting a push and hardly being on TV is because they're the real best tag team in the world is all The Bucks.

Miro is nowhere to be seen because he's not buddies with Jericho or the Elite apparently.

Yes, other people have to get some air time or it would look too obvious, but clearly Jericho and the Elite are pretty much running the show.

The Inner Circle stuff I had no problem with. The JAS stuff is definitely bad.

All the Japanese girls being featured on TV that almost no one knows about in this country is all Omega.

All what Japanese girls? The only Joshi that gets featured consistently on TV is Shida. Riho pops up here and there then disappears for months. Emi Sakura is buried on AEW Dark and Yuki Sakazaki may visit maybe once every six months. Hardly anything for American women to be concerned about. You need the Joshis because a large percentage of the American women can't fucking wrestle.

The Bucks don't care about that bro. They're not standing in the way of FTR facing The Acclaimed for the AEW Tag team championships. That's TK's call. TK doesn't want to have that match right now.

The time to have had that Bucks and FTR match has come and gone. FTR was getting bigger pops than the Bucks at the time.
The fan interest level in the Elite is not what it was before. Even the announcement of them coming back for tomorrow's PPV was underwhelming.
The Bucks purposely avoided facing FTR since they presented a threat as being the true best tag team in the world.
Of course now the Bucks have no problem with FTR facing the Acclaimed since they don't have to put them over.
The Bucks and Omega would still have the trios belts (which was pretty much just created for them) if that whole hissy fit in the locker room with Punk hadn't happened.
