how much of this could’ve been avoided if Jericho was really that guy. If AEW had their own version of Undertaker who everyone respected and feared.

Great show! Probably the best Dynamite in a long time and it didn't have CM Punk or The Elite on it. AEW is gonna be alright.

So with the way this is setup MJF will wrestle at a later date whomever wins the Tournament to be the next AEW Champion. So MJF won't be the next AEW World Champion theoretically. In this case put the belt on Danielson. They have time to milk the whole MJF AEW/WWE bidding war storyline.
I think Moxley wins it and then Stokely and crew decimate him for MJF to cash the chip...
